BIO: Irving Darius Hadley was born in Lynn, MA and died in 1963 in Lynn, MA. He went to college at Brown University. He played major league baseball from 1926 to 1941 as pitcher for the Washington Senators, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Browns, New York Yankees, New York Giants and the Philadelphia Athletics, and appeared in the 1936, 1937 and 1939 World Series.

Raymond Hall Hayworth was born in High Point, NC and died in 2002 in Salisbury, NC. He played major league baseball from 1926 to 1945 as catcher for the Detroit Tigers, Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants and the St. Louis Browns, and appeared in the 1934 World Series. Following his playing career, Hayworth worked for several teams, including the Chicago Cubs, the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves and the Montreal Expos. Hayworth retired from baseball in 1973. After that, he threw out the ceremonial first ball in the last game played at Tiger Stadium on September 29, 1999.
