BIO: Newell Obediah Morse was born in 1904 in Berkeley, CA and died in 1987 in Sparks, NV. He went to college at the University of California and the University of Michigan. He played major league baseball for a single season in 8 games in 1929 as 2nd baseman for the Philadelphia Athletics. Morse was a World War II veteran, and later became an attorney for the Veteran's Administration.
