BIO: John Burnette Hollingsworth was born in 1895 in Jacksboro, TN and died in 1990 in Knoxville, TN. He played major league baseball from 1922 to 1928 as pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Senators, Brooklyn Robins and the Boston Braves.
