One of a collection of thirty Type 1 original period photos to be offered this week. Each bears the stamping of Apex Photograph Company on the verso, with several also having the stamping of the American League Service Bureau as well. Mose (all?) appear to be photos taken by Chicago photographer George Burke, but I have not done the extensive image searching necessary to confirm, so please just consider that a possibility for your own future research. Guaranteed to be a vintage, original photograph, not a modern day reproduction. See scans for further details including condition and stamping. BIO: William John Dietrich (Bullfrog) was born in Philadelphia, PA and died in 1978 in Philadelphia, PA. He went to college at Villanova University. He played major league baseball from 1933 to 1948 as pitcher for the Philadelphia Athletics, Washington Senators, and Chicago White Sox. SKU: X11095
