BIO: William Walker Cash (Ready) was born in 1919 in Round Oak, GA and died in 2011 in Philadelphia, PA. He played major league baseball from 1943 to 1948 as catcher, left fielder and 3rd baseman for the Philadelphia Stars, and was selected in 1948 as an All-Star.
