BIO: Werner Joseph Birrer was born in 1929 in Buffalo, NY and died in 2013 in Clarence, New York. He played major league baseball from 1955 to 1958 as pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
