BIO: Arthur Joseph Houtteman was born in 1927 in Detroit, MI and died in 2003 in Rochester Hills, MI. He played major league baseball from 1945 to 1957 as pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians and the Baltimore Orioles, appeared in the 1954 World Series, and was selected in 1950 as an All-Star.
