BIO: Randall David Johnson (Big Unit) was born in 963 in Walnut Creek, CA and went to college at the University of Southern California. He played major league baseball from 988 to 2009 as pitcher for the Montreal Expos, Seattle Mariners, Houston Astros, Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Yankees and the San Francisco Giants, appeared in the 200 World Series, was selected 0 times as an All-Star, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 205. Johnson has earned 5 Cy Young Awards, was the 995 American League Pitcher of the Year, and earned the 2002 National League Triple Crown for pitching. While at USC he spent two years on the basketball team before quitting to focus on baseball. He received his nickname, "The Big Unit", from teammate Tim Raines while a rookie with Montreal in 988; the smallish Raines coined the name to express his wonder at Johnson's gigantic height, and it caught on with the media. Curtis Montague Schilling was born in 966 in Anchorage, AK. He played major league baseball from 988 to 2007 as pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, Arizona Diamondbacks and the Boston Red Sox, appeared in 993, 200, 2004 and 2007 World Series, and was selected 6 times as an All-Star.
