He played major league baseball from 995 to present as shortstop for the New York Yankees, appeared in the 996, 998, 999, 2000, 200, 2003 and 2009 World Series, was selected 0 times (as of 2009) as an All-Star, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020.
