He played professional football from 1986 to 1996 as quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, appeared in the 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993 Superbowls, was a 5-time Pro-Bowler and 1-time First-Team All-Pro, and was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 2002.
