BIO: Ronald Edwin Gant was born in 1965 in Victoria, TX. He played major league baseball from 1987 to 2003 as outfielder, 2nd and 3rd baseman for the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Anaheim Angels, Colorado Rockies, Oakland Athletics and the San Diego Padres, appeared in the 1991 and 1992 World Series, and was selected in 1992 and 1995 as an All-Star. His career suffered a serious setback in the off-season between 1993 and 1994, when he was released by the Atlanta Braves after suffering injuries in a dirt-bike accident. He missed the entire 1994 season but rebounded, however, to win the NL's Comeback Player of the Year Award in 1995 as a member of the Cincinnati Reds. Since his retirement as an active player, he has regularly appeared on TBS television broadcasts of the Braves. He is also an in-studio analysts on MLB Network. SKU: L11601
