BIO: John Patrick Smiley was born in 1965 in Phoenixville, PA. He played major league baseball from 1986 to 1997 as pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Twins, Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Indians, and was selected twice as an All-Star.
