He played major league baseball from 1992 to 2008 as 1st baseman for the New York Yankees, California Angels, San Francisco Giants and the Boston Red Sox, and appeared in the 2002 World Series. Snow's father, Jack Snow, was an all pro receiver for the Los Angeles Rams. 1 1 Mitchell Steven Williams (Wild Thing) was born in 1964 in Santa Ana, CA. He played major league baseball from 1986 to 1997 as pitcher for the Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, Houston Astros, California Angels and the Kansas City Royals, appeared in the 1993 World Series, and was selected in 1989 as an All-Star. Williams was a left-handed pitcher with a tremendous fastball which he often had trouble controlling. His pitching motion involved maximum effort, and he would come tumbling off the mound after delivering the ball, in no position to field, but it wasn't much of a problem because opposing batters had so much trouble making contact with his pitches. Williams was nicknamed Wild Thing after the character played by Charlie Sheen in the hit comedy Major League which came out in 1989. He is best remembered for giving up the 1993 World Series losing home run to Joe Carter. 1 SKU: SPP01308
