He played major league baseball from 1988 to 2007 as pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, Arizona Diamondbacks and the Boston Red Sox, appeared in 1993, 2001, 2004 and 2007 World Series, and was selected 6 times as an All-Star. Schilling was the National League Pitcher of the Year in 2001 and 2002. David Michael Hollins was born in 1966 in Buffalo, NY and went to college at the University of South Carolina. He played major league baseball from 1990 to 2002 as 3rd and 1st baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies, Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins, Seattle Mariners, Anaheim Angels, Toronto Blue Jays, Cleveland Indians and the Philadelphia Phillies, appeared in the 1993 World Series, and was selected in 1993 as an All-Star. Hollins is a diabetic and was considered one of the most intense - if not the most intense - players of his day. Curt Schilling even had this to say about him: "Intense? He's pretty intense when he sleeps. He chews bricks." Hollins' first game with the Mariners was quite bizarre. Not 30 minutes after arriving at the Kingdome, he was sent to pinch hit for Doug Strange against pitcher Mike Milchin. In his first at bat, he tried to bunt his way aboard and the ball ricocheted in an odd direction and hit his face. The game ended with a walk-off grand slam from fellow Rent-A-Player Mark Whiten. Hollins a lot of time in 2002 after being bit by a poisonous spider in Spring Training. In 2005 he was a coach for the Binghamton Mets. Emisael William (Librada) Canate was born in 1971 in Maracaibo, Venezuela. He played major league baseball for a single season in 1993 as outfielder for the Toronto Blue Jays, and appeared in the 1993 World Series. SKU: L15206
