BIO: Vincent Maurice Coleman (Vincent Van Go) was born in 1961 in Jacksonville, FL and went to college at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. He played major league baseball from 1985 to 1997 as outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Mets, Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds and the Detroit Tigers, appeared in the 1987 World Series, and was selected twice as an All-Star. Coleman was the 1995 National League Rookie of the Year. In 1993, he was suspended by the New York Mets after he tossed a lit firecracker into a crowd awaiting autographs in the parking lot at Dodger Stadium. Coleman was hired by the Houston Astros as an outfield/baserunninng "development specialist" assigned to the Quad Cities River Bandits in 2013. He is the cousin of former NFL punter Greg Coleman.
