BIO: Lawrence Robert Bowa was born in 1945 in Sacramento, CA. He played major league baseball from 1970 to 1985 as shortstop for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs and the New York Mets, appeared in the 1980 World Series, and was selected 5 times as an All-Star. He went on to manage the San Diego Padres (1987-88) and the Philadelphia Phillies (2001-04), and was named the 2001 National League Manager of the Year.

Donald Wayne Money (Brooks) was born in 1947 in Washington, DC. He played major league baseball from 1968 to 1983 as infielder for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Milwaukee Brewers, appeared in the 1982 World Series, and was selected 4 times as an All-Star. After his playing days, Money spent several years as a high school baseball coach. In 1998, he returned to the Brewers organization as skipper of the Beloit Snappers. In seven seasons at the helm of Beloit, his clubs were runner-up for the Midwest League crown twice. He then led the AA Huntsville Stars for four years, twice losing in the Southern League championship series. Beginning in 2009, he was manager of the AAA Nashville Sounds.

James Paul David Bunning was born in 1931 in Southgate, KY and died in 2017 in Fort Thomas, KY. He went to college at Xavier University. He played major league baseball from 1955 to 1971 as pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, Philadlephia Phillies and the Los Angeles Dodgers, was selected 7 TIMES as an All-Star, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1996. After his playing career, Bunning managed the Reading Phillies (1972), Eugene Emeralds (1973), Toledo Mud Hens (1974-1975) and Oklahoma City 89ers (1976). Bunning then returned to his home state of Kentucky and entered politics. He served on the City Council of Fort Thomas, Kentucky from 1977 to 1979 and was elected to the Kentucky State Senate in 1979. After serving there for four years, he moved on to the United States House of Representatives from 1987 to 1999. In 1999, he was elected to the United States Senate, and he won reelection in 2005.

William José Martínez was born in 1978 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. He played major league baseball for a single season in a single game in 2000 as pitcher for the Cleveland Indians.
