BIO: Roberto (Velazquez) Alomar was born in 1968 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He played major league baseball from 1988 to 2004 as 2nd baseman for the San Diego Padres, Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, New York Mets, Chicago White Sox and the Arizona Diamondbacks, appeared in the 1992 and 1993 World Series, was selected 12 times as an All-Star, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011. Alomar earned a total of 10 Gold Glove Awards and 4 Silver Sluggers over the course of his career. He is the brother of Sandy Alomar Jr. and son of Sandy Alomar Sr. SKU: L11741
