BIO: Bruce Douglas Bochy was born in 1955 in Landes De Bussac, France and went to college at Eastern Florida State University. He played major league baseball from 1978 to 1987 as catcher for the Houston Astros, New York Mets and the San Diego Padres. Bochy went on to manage the Padres from 1995 to 2006 and the Giants from 2007 to 2019.
