BIO: Andre Nolan Dawson (Hawk) was born in 1954 in Miami, FL and went to college at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. He played major league baseball from 1976 to 1996 as outfielder for the Montreal Expos, Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox and the Florida Marlins, was selected 8 times as an All-Star, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2010. He was the 1977 National League Rookie of the Year and the 1987 National League MVP, and won a total of 8 Gold Glove Awards.
