BIO: Douglas Lee Rader (Rojo, The Red Rooster) was born in 1944 in Chicago, IL and went to college at Illinois Wesleyan University. He played major league baseball from 1967 to 1977 as 3rd baseman for the Houston Astros, San Diego Padres and the Toronto Blue Jays. Rader earned a total of 5 Gold Glove Awards at 3rd base. He went on to manage the 1983-85 Texas Rangers, 1986 Chicago White Sox, and 1989-91 California Angels.
