BIO: Joe Allen Simpson was born in 1951 in Purcell, OK and went to college at the University of Oklahoma. He played major league baseball from 1975 to 1983 as outfielder and 1st baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners and the Kansas City Royals.
