BIO: Thomas Leo Browning was born in 1960 in Casper, WY and went to college at LeMoyne College and Tennessee Wesleyan College. He played major league baseball from 1984 to 1995 as pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds and the Kansas City Royals (1 season), appeared in the 1990 World Series, and was selected in 1991 as an All-Star. He pitched a perfect game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on September 16, 1988. He also came close to a no-hitter that year when he went 8 1/3 innings before giving up a hit. Browning was pitching coach for the 2008-2009 Billings Mustangs. He was originally slated to be the pitching coach of the Carolina Mudcats in 2009, but was replaced by Rigo Beltran after being arrested in Florida for failure to pay child support. In 2010 he was pitching coach of the AZL Reds. SKU: SPP01225
