He played major league baseball from 1982 to 1995 as pitcher for the Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics and the Detroit Tigers, appeared in the 1989 and 1990 World Series, and was selected in 1989 as an All-Star. Milton Edward Wilcox was born in 1950 in Honolulu, HI. He played major league baseball from 1970 to 1986 as pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers and the Seattle Mariners, and appeared in the 1970 and 1984 World Series. Milt claimed not to be superstitious - it was only a coincidence he ate blueberry pancakes on the day he was to pitch, he never stepped on the foul line because of a habit, threw the same eight pitches in his warm-up as a routine, etc. In 2005, Wilcox competed with his dog "Sparky" (named for Sparky Anderson) at diving dog competitions (sort of a canine long-jump) and placed 5th in the national finals. He now owns Ultimate Air Dogs, a national dock jumping organization that sponsors dock jumping events. As of 2007, he was also a coach at Tiger Fantasy Camp in Lakeland, FL. Leonard Joseph Okrie was born in 1923 in Detroit, MI and died in 2018 in Fayetteville, NC. He played major league baseball from 1948 to 1952 as catcher for the Washington Senators and the Boston Red Sox. SKU: XP11893
