He went to college at Fayetteville State University. He played major league baseball from 1972 to 1984 as pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians and the Pittsburgh Pirates, appeared in the 1979 World Series, and was selected in 1980 as an All-Star. George Warren Schultz was born in 1926 in Beverly, NJ and died in 2015 in Edgewater Park Township, PA. He played major league baseball from 1955 to 1965 as pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers and the Chicago Cubs, and appeared in the 1964 World Series. SKU: SPP01473
