BIO: Thomas Martin Veryzer was born in 1953 in Port Jefferson, NY and died in 2014 in Islip, NY. He played major league baseball from 1973 to 1984 as shortstop for the Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians, New York Mets and the Chicago Cubs.
