BIO: Camilo Alberto (Lus) Pascual (Camile) was born in 1934 in Havana, Cuba. He played major league baseball from 1954 to 1971 as pitcher for the Washington Senators, Minnesota Twins, Cincinnati Reds, Los Angeles Dodgers and the Cleveland Indians, appeared in the 1965 World Series, and was selected 5 times as an All-Star. A workhorse for the Washington/Minnesota pitching staffs for 17 years, he possessed good control, an excellent fastball and an outstanding curveball. Despite playing with generally bad teams during his career, Pascual retired with a winning record. In addition, he pitched Cuban winter ball for years with Cienfuegos, and was league MVP in the 1955-56 winter. After his playing career ended, he was a Minnesota Twins coach from 1978 to 1980.
