Manager Elmer Spath of Brookfield, IL, tried his best to get his team to hang on to a 10-9 lead in the Babe Ruth World Series Sunday against New Orleans, but his advice proved futile. A swing fo the bat put the ball out of the park and his team lost, 11-10, in Anderson, IN.
