1964 Los Angeles Angels BOB LEE Vintage Wire Photo Rookie

ANGELS' MANAGER ATTACHED TO HIM

Right-handed pitcher Bob Lee, above, is a prime topic of conversation with Bill Rigney, manager of the Los Angeles Angels American League baseball team--and with good reason. In his first start this season Lee, an acquisition from the Pittsburgh organization, held the Cleveland Indians to one run in 10 innings and then in his second outing against the Washington Senators gave up only one hit in seven innings.
