BIO: Thomas Michael Tresh was born in 1937 in Detroit, MI and died in 2008 in Venice, FL. He went to college at Central Michigan University. He played major league baseball from 1961 to 1969 as outfielder for the New York Yankees and a single season with the Detroit Tigers, appeared in the 1962, 1963 and 1964 World Series, and was selected twice as an All-Star. Tresh was the 1962 American League Rookie of the Year, and also earned a Gold Glove Award in 1965. He was the son of Mike Tresh. Both father and son had careers entirely in the American League.
