BIO: Frank Strong Lary (Mule, Taters, The Yankee Killer) was born in 1930 in Northport, AL and died in 2017 in Tuscaloosa, AL. He went to college at the University of Alabama. He played major league baseball from 1954 to 1965 as pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets and the Chicago White Sox, and was selected in 1960 and 1961 as an All-Star.
