BIO: Harvey Edward Kuenn was born in 1930 in West Allis, WI and died in 1988 in Peoria, AZ. He went to college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He played major league baseball from 1952 to 1966 as outfielder and infielder for the Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs and the Philadelphia Phillies, appeared in the 1962 World Series, and was selected 8 times as an All-Star. Kuenn was the 1953 American League Rookie of the Year. After his playing career ended, Kuenn joined the Milwaukee Brewers coaching staff in 1971 and served as the club's interim manager briefly in 1975. He took over full-time as the Brewers' skipper in 1982, leading a team known as "Harvey's Wallbangers" to the World Series. Kuenn was also known for his large chaw of chewing tobacco which always graced one cheek, as well as a very slow, deliberate walk to the pitcher's mound when calling in a relief pitcher. Sadly, he had a leg amputation and died young.

John Sherman Lollar was born in Durham, AR and died in 1977 in Springfield, MO. He went to college at Pittsburg State University. He played major league baseball from 1946 to 1963 as catcher for the Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, St. Louis Browns, and the Chicago White Sox, appeared in the 1947 and 1959 World Series, and was selected 7 times as an All-Star. He won the Gold Glove Award for catchers in 1957, the first year of the award, which initially had one recipient per position for both leagues. After the Gold Glove Award was changed to one recipient per position for each league, he received the American League award in 1958 and 1959 Gold Glove award. He retired after the 1963 season with the highest career fielding average for a catcher, 0.992. When his playing career ended, he was a coach for the Baltimore Orioles (1964-68). He subsequently was a coach for the Oakland Athletics in 1969 and managed the A's AAA affiliates Iowa Oaks and Tucson Toros in the 70's.
