TRAFFIC JAM AT SECOND

Bobby Hofman, Giants second baseman, makes a stabe at the runner after taking the relay from left-fielder Dusty Rhodes to shortstop Alvin Dark. Umpire Dusty Boggess gets a close look at the play.
