If you have any questions about a particular piece, please ask before the auction ends. BIO: Louis Boudreau was born in Harvey, IL and died in 2001 in Frankfort, IL. He went to college at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He played major league baseball from 1938 to 1952 as shortstop and infielder for the Cleveland Indians and the Boston Red Sox, appeared in the 1948 World Series, was selected 8 times as an All-Star, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1970. Boudreau also managed the 1942-50 Cleveland Indians, the 1952-54 Boston Red Sox, the 1955-57 Kansas City Athletics, and the 1960 Chicago Cubs.
