COMMENTS / CONDITION: Original 3"x5" snapshot photo of Jim Tabor irca 1941 pictured in his civvies. See detailed scan for photo condition. This photo originates from a charming little photograph album which provides a fan's eye view of Fenway's finest by way of one-of-a-kind snapshots snapped inside and just outside the hallowed baseball grounds. Most are portraits of the players themselves. As these photos were previously affixed in the aforementioned album, each at least some remnant or residue from the typical black scrapbook-type pages to which they were affixed. Otherwise, the backs are unmarked. The cover of the album itself is dated 1941, with the photos all appearing to date to that period. BIO: James Reubin Tabor (Rawhide) was born in New Hope, AL and died in 1953 in Sacramento, CA. He went to college at University of Alabama. He played major league baseball from 1938 to 1947 as 3rd baseman for the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies.
