Spencer Dewey Adams was born in Layton, UT and died in 1970 in Salt Lake City, UT. He played major league baseball from to 1927 as infielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Senators, New York Yankees and the St. Louis Browns, and appeared in the 1925 and 1926 World Series.
